For us, sustainability is a principle based on the responsible and long-term sustainable management of ecological, economic and social resources. We believe that sustainability is not only about protecting nature, but also about engaging with people inside and outside the company. That is why we strive to keep this principle in mind in all our activities – whether it is about the company itself, our colleagues, partners or  customers.

Optimizing of our processes

For efficiency and sustainability, we are committed to paperless operations, so we use digital solutions wherever possible. As part of this, we have introduced a QR code machine documentation system and a digital key, which also bring significant benefits to our customers.
With the QR code system, the most important documents for all our rental lifting equipment – such as the test document and the instruction manual – are instantly available on the phone. This reduces our ecological footprint, increases efficiency and eliminates the disruption caused by lost or damaged paper documents.

The digital key makes using the machine easier and safer through the matecode app. The app allows you to manage your access rights, so only qualified people can operate the equipment.
These innovations contribute to more efficient working, reduce the administrative burden and support environmentally friendly operations.

Sustainable facility management

Mateco is committed to sustainable operations, which is reflected in our facility management and fleet development practices.
We always look at the potential of using renewable energy sources when we are developing our buildings. We are using the energy generated by a flat-roof solar panel system to provide energy-saving solutions, whether it’s for heating systems or office lighting. We also strive to be surrounded by as much green space as possible.
Our fleet of machines is constantly expanding: our electric, hybrid and dual-powered machines allow us to work without CO2 emissions, therefor they are ideal for indoor work, monument projects, noise control areas or urban environments. Such equipment is recognisable by its green logo, and we are adding more and more electric and hybrid workstations to our fleet to reduce our environmental footprint.

For mateco it is important to develop sustainable and responsible corporate operations. We believe that long-term success is based on a continually developing, highly skilled workforce that thrives on fairness, diversity, inclusiveness and a carefully designed, supportive work environment. Our human resources strategy is to create a workplace culture that supports these values while reducing our ecological footprint.

We pay particular attention to the quality of our professional training, therefor we are applying as much technological innovations as we can. We organise community activities where our employees work together to promote a sustainable future, such as tree planting and charity events. The health and wellbeing of our employees is a priority for us. We run health programmes and accident prevention initiatives. In addition to this, we strengthen team spirit through recreational and community-building events.
