S-65 XC

There are electric (battery-powered) and diesel-powered types of telescopic handlers. They are generally used for working at high heights or requiring long reach, as their reach often exceeds that of other lifting equipment.

General characteristics of telescopic boom lifts:
  • Telescopic boom lifts are machines that use an arm that extends in a straight line to position a cage that can be swivelled left and right in the desired area.
  • This design provides the vertical reach needed to reach the work area at high altitudes, while the horizontal reach of the lift also ranges widely.
  • The lifting basket can usually be used safely by several people, with a load capacity of the basket ranging from 227kg to 454kg.
  • The telescopic boom lift can also be used by workers to safely carry out maintenance work on buildings.
  • Thanks to the stool’s non-continuous/continuous 360-degree rotation, it can cover a large working area – even when working around a building.
The Genie S-65 XC telescopic boom lift is available with three tire options:
  • Foam-filled, uneven terrain tyres are the standard solution.
  • Foam-filled, but non-marking tyres provide a smooth transition between outdoor and indoor work areas.
  • The TraX variant offers a so-called Vermeer track system (crawler design) for working in difficult terrain.

Benefits of using

Designed for outdoor work, the four-wheel drive Genie S-65 XC diesel telescopic boom lift is a redesigned Xtra Capacity version of the popular Genie S-65.

Its lifting capacity allows it to handle more complex lifting tasks requiring higher load capacities on construction and industrial work sites, and it offers advanced features – sometimes optional – to make more efficient use of the work area.

  • 1.

A full-time active oscillating shaft and full-time positive traction support the efficiency of the boom lift in adapting to the terrain.

  • 2.

The Genie S-65XC telescopic boom lift with 360° rotating swivel base features chassis tilt detection technology to maximise access to hard-to-reach work areas.

  • 3.

The telescopic boom lift has a maximum working height of 21.81 metres, a horizontal outreach of 16.51 metres and a load capacity of 300 kilograms + 2 operators.

  • 4.

The telescopic boom lift’s steel platform, which can be rotated horizontally through 160°, provides a useful working area of 2.44 x 0.91 m and the AC power supply facilitates on-board power tool use.

  • 5.

2-2 lights on the chassis and platform ensure visibility of the working area.

Tank capacity

  • The telescopic boom lift’s fuel tank can hold 132 litres of diesel.
  • Alternatively, models equipped with an LPG tank can hold 114 litres of LPG.
  • Maximum tank capacity to operate the hydraulics: 151 litres.
