SX 180

There are electric (battery-powered) and diesel-powered types of telescopic boom lifts. They are generally used for working at high heights or requiring long reach, as their reach often exceeds that of other lifting equipment.

General characteristics of telescopic boom lifts:

Telescopic boom lifts are machines that use an arm that extends in a straight line to position a cage that can be swivelled left and right in the desired area.
This design provides the vertical reach needed to reach the work area at high altitudes, while the horizontal reach of the lift also ranges widely.
The lifting basket can usually be used safely by several people, with a load capacity of the basket ranging from 227kg to 454kg.
The telescopic boom lift can also be used by workers to safely carry out maintenance work on buildings.
Rotatability is also important with these machines (stool), for example, if they start working in front of a tall building, they can walk in a full circle, 360 degrees, as the stool of the machine can rotate in a circle – not continuously!

The swivel base of the telescopic boom lift provides continuous 360° rotation.

The four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer Genie SX-180 telescopic boom lift has a travel speed of 4 km/h, 0.6 km/h with the platform in front.

The grip of the foam-filled tires and the basket lift enable safe passage and work on rough, uneven terrain and 35% slopes, loading ramps.

The basket lift’s fuel tank can hold 189 litres of diesel.

Maximum tank capacity to operate the hydraulics: 416 litres.
