S 85 XC

There are electric (battery-powered) and diesel-powered types of telescopic boom lifts. They are generally used for working at high heights or requiring long reach, as their reach often exceeds that of other lifting equipment.

General characteristics of telescopic boom lifts:
  • Telescopic boom lifts are machines that use an arm that extends in a straight line to position a cage that can be swivelled left and right in the desired area.
  • This design provides the vertical reach needed to reach the work area at high altitudes, while the horizontal reach of the lift also ranges widely.
  • The lifting basket can usually be used safely by several people, with a load capacity of the basket ranging from 227kg to 454kg.
  • The telescopic boom lift can also be used by workers to safely carry out maintenance work on buildings.
  • Rotatability is also important with these machines (stool), for example, if they start working in front of a tall building, they can walk in a full circle, 360 degrees, as the stool of the machine can rotate in a circle – not continuously!

Benefits of using

This boom lift lift is a version of the previous S-85 model with more advanced features. The more powerful Xtra Capacity model offers increased lifting capacity for heavier and more complex lifting tasks on construction and industrial jobsites.

  • 1.

An active oscillating axle and full-time positive traction throughout the battery capacity ensure excellent terrain conditions.

  • 2.

The S-85 XC cart lift’s chassis tilt detection technology maximises access to hard-to-reach work areas.

  • 3.

The telescopic boom lift combines a working height of 27.74 m with a load capacity of 454 kg, with a working area for two people of 2.44 x 0.91 metres.

  • 4.

The XC model gives you the option of lifting an extra 300 kg and adding an extra person to the workflow.

  • 5.

Designed for outdoor work, the telescopic boom lift has a grip capacity that performs well on 45% slopes and/or loading ramps.

  • 6.

The lifting basket can rotate 160°, giving flexible access to the working area at height.

  • 7.

The maximum speed of the boom lift is 4.8 km/h, with the basket released the safe speed limit is 0.2 km/h.

  • 8.

Foam-filled tires allow you to drive and work safely over uneven terrain.

  • 9.

Zero-load field calibration and on-board diagnostics maximise the serviceability of the basket lift.

Tank capacity

  • The boom lift’s fuel tank can hold 132 litres of diesel.
  • The LPG car tank holds 114 litres of LPG fuel.
  • Maximum tank capacity to operate the hydraulics 170 litres.
